Always a memorable event, the 2016 Golden Globes kicked off at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday night (January 10) and there were plenty of winners in the house.

Picking up the Best Motion Picture- Musical or Comedy title was the Ridley Scott flick “The Martian,” while Matt Damon won the trophy for Best Actor in a Motion Picture- Musical or Comedy.

Meanwhile, “The Revenant” snagged the Best Motion Picture- Drama and Best Director (Alejandro Inarritu), while the Best Actor in a Motion Picture- Drama award went to Leonardo DiCaprio.

Even Ricky Gervais had a fabulous time as he hosted the Golden Globes for the fourth time, cracking jokes about Mel Gibson, Ben Affleck, Roman Polanski and Caitlyn Jenner.
