Are you, are you… recording an album yet, Jennifer Lawrence?

The “Mockingjay” star won the first 2015 MTV Movie Award on Sunday (April 12) for her haunting musical performance in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1.” The somber song, titled “Hanging Tree,” was a breakout hit, debuting at no. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in December. Because whatever JLaw touches turns to gold, obviously.Lawrence beat out some stiff competition for her Golden Popcorn for Best Musical Performance. She was nominated alongside Chris Pratt’s smooth moves in “Guardians of the Galaxy”, dream team Seth Rogen and Zac Efron in “Neighbors,” Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig’s lip syncing prowess in “The Skeleton Twins” and Miles Teller’s breakthrough performance in “Whiplash.” But in the end, Katniss Everdeen reigned supreme.

JLaw told MTV News that she had, “never sung in front of people or anyone” before recording “Hanging Tree” for the “Mockingjay” score. We’re not entirely sure if we believe her or not because homegirl sounded amazing.

Well deserved, JLaw! Now, please pull a Beyoncé and drop a surprise album.
