Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly made a big decision about her love life following her split from Coldplay star Chris Martin.
Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly extremely hurt by the way Chris Martin has been flaunting his new romance in public.The Hunger Games star is thought to have dated the 38-year-old Coldplay frontman on-and-off for around 13 months, finally splitting in summer (15). He is now happily dating actress Annabelle Wallis, with the pair putting on an amorous display while they were in Paris in October (15). They were photographed hugging and kissing which was a marked change from how secretive Chris usually is about his love life, something which Jennifer apparently knows only too well.
“He kept telling her that he and Gwyn (Gwyneth Paltrow, his former wife) were keeping their relationships on the down-low because of their kids, but these pictures with Annabelle don’t line up with that,” an insider told Britain’s Heat magazine. “It’s not surprising Jen feels hurt – I think she kept breaking things off with him, but he’d always convince her to come back to him. It felt like he was stringing her along.”
Jennifer and Chris got together just months after he and Gwyneth confirmed they were “consciously uncoupling”. The 25-year-old star now reportedly realises they got involved too quickly, so has vowed never to date a guy who is so freshly single again.
“Jen put a lot of effort into the relationship with Chris,” the source said. “They got together three months after his split with Gwyn, so she was his shoulder to cry on and then he turned cold, saying they were too busy to see each other anymore. That was bulls**t to her, she accommodated his schedule, even though hers is equally busy. But even though Chris acted like he was into her, now it seems that he wasn’t looking to get serious with anyone.
“Jennifer didn’t see the signs that Chris wasn’t looking for a long-term relationship. She listened to what he said, not what he did.”
