Joining forces for another stunning superhero sequel, Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender are set to return to the X-Men franchise’s next sequel, “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
The “Catching Fire” cutie will also star alongside James McAvoy, and Nicholas Hoult, reprising their roles in the Marvel sci-fi flick.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 27th, 2016, and Jennifer will be reprising her role as her iconic character, Mystique.
According to the synopsis, “Apocalypse deals with ancient mutancy. What would humans have thought mutants were? What would mutants think humans were? You’re dealing with gods and things like that. And what if one survived and what if that found its way into our world?” director Bryan Singer recently shared to EW about the movie.”
