Someone needs to wear more flats! Jennifer Lawrence fell (again!) while attending the 86th Academy Awards in L.A. on Saturday, March. 2.

Lawrence, 23, was all smiles waving to fans in the stands, until she suddenly tripped at the Dolby Theatre. The Oscar-nominated actress tried to catch her fall by grabbing the shoulder of a woman standing in front of her, but the attempted save was a bust. She slowly slid down to her knees, all the while face-planting into her friend’s backside. Lawrence immediately burst out laughing and luckily didn’t damage her gorgeous red Dior dress in the process. (She later told ABC she tripped on a cone.)

Lawrence — who’s up for Best Supporting Actress in American Hustle — is no stranger to tripping on live television. Last year’s Oscars, the star fell down on steps while making her way to the stage to accept the Academy Award for Best Actress for Silver Linings Playbook. At the time, she made several best-dressed lists by wearing a gorgeous pale Dior Haute Couture gown.

“You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell — it’s really embarrassing,” Lawrence told the crowd with her gold statue in hand. “This is nuts!”
