The first Miss Dior campaign starring Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence has been unveiled. With just a matter of days until Jennifer Lawrence graces the Oscars red carpet as a Best Actress nominee, Dior have released the first images of the starlet as the face of its Miss Dior campaign. In the photographs, which were shot by Willy Vanderperre, Lawrence wears pieces from Dior’s spring/summer 2013 ready-to-wear collection.

As Dior’s newest darling, Lawrence has donned a variety of gorgeous couture gowns as she’s made her away around the awards season circuit, snapping up many a prize as she went.

The 22-year-old was announced as the new face of the Miss Dior handbag line in October last year, replacing fellow actress Mila Kunis. The French fashion house seems to have expertly predicted just how huge a star Lawrence would become thanks to her much-lauded role in Silver Linings Playbook .
